Wilderness Center
The Exhibition is open May 15 – September 15 and on other times upon request. Departure dates for tours can be found on our website. Visiting the Wilderness Center you can experience a stunning exhibition where you step into the past and learn about the adventures and the struggles of life and travel in the Icelandic wilderness. We also offer tours and travel packages for those looking for authentic experiences in Iceland’s lesser-discovered region. On our tours, you’ll enjoy nature, the Icelandic horse, hot springs and more. At the Wilderness Center, we have now recently installed a hot spring spa to complement our other activities and for our overnight guests, the entrance to the spa is free.
