Alba Guesthouse

Alba Guesthouse is a small and family-run guesthouse, located in the old Reykjavík. It was first opened on June 25th in 2004, but the current owners, husband and wife, Þorsteinn Friðþjófsson and Harpa Sigfúsdóttir, have been operating the guesthouse since April 2013.

The guesthouse is well-established and offers 12 rooms, all with shared facilities. It is located within 15 minutes walk from downtown Reykjavík, in an old, quiet and charming neighbourhood. Breakfast is included in the room rate and we offer a continental buffet, with a French press coffee and freshly baked bread every morning. A spacious garden surrounds the house and is the perfect place to relax on a sunny day. Please note that guests do not have access to a kitchen, however, there are tea and coffee facilities in the common area along with a microwave that all guests are welcome to use. Alba Guesthouse is a smoke-free facility and all use of open fire is forbidden.
